Shri Rabindra Nath Mahto was unanimously selected on 07 January 2020 as the eighth chairman of Jharkhand Assembly. The general election of the 6th Jharkhand Legislative Assembly, was re-elected from the Nala Legislative Assembly area in 2024 and again selected them as the ninth president of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly on December 10, 2024. he is currently legislators from the Nala Assembly area of Jamtaada district. Jharkhand Vikas Morcha Party tickets have been elected as Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha Member in 2005, 2014 and 2019 and 2024 from the Nala Assembly area. He was born on 12th January 1960 at Mohjori village of Fatehpur Blockh. The father Shri. Late Golak Bihari Mahto was an energetic teacher and mother-in-law Manjri Devi. After receiving graduation from Sidhu Kanu University, he acquired the B. Ed degree from Orissa. His diplomatic life journey began from the isolated state movement of Jharkhand. In the name of "Abua Dishom Abua Raj" the Dishom Guru Shri Shibu Soren in the youth as his exclusive disciple on the call of Shri Shibu Soren only in the youthful faith, Zharkhand flagged himself in the revolution of the state formation movement. During the movement of state formation several times the tortures of the gel have to be tolerated. Jharkhand Region has been a member of JAC since the establishment of the Autonomous Council.
